A letter from our President

I am pleased to report that the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is growing and thriving post-COVID. We are excited to welcome 12 new business members who have joined in 2023 – with 3 months to go! Please reach out to welcome the new members listed at the bottom of this memo.

We need your help –

Annual Community Awards Committee – new members welcome. This committee reviews and votes on the nominations for Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Business Person of the Year, and Distinguished Service Award (only Chamber members). The Awards Ceremony will be held on December 5, 2023, in concert with the Holiday Celebration.

Host a meeting. Our goal is to enable members to visit local businesses. Our membership meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month. We alternate Lunch and Learns and After Work Networking sessions. We also offer periodic skills workshops. Upcoming events are on our website at www.sudbury.org.

In the coming weeks, you will be hearing from members of our Board of Directors who will be phoning to discuss the above thoughts and to update you on your membership status. The Sudbury Chamber of Commerce has offered a “grace period” on membership dues and Banner fees during the COVID years. We are now looking to update all of our memberships and to create a vibrant plan for the future.
