Andrew 'Andy' Sheehan says he's eager to start as town manager in Sudbury

MetroWest Daily News - SUDBURY — Incoming Town Manager Andrew "Andy" Sheehan is ready to hit the ground running when he takes the reins on Feb. 13, and looks forward to getting to know the community.

Sheehan will replace Henry L. Hayes, who voluntarily resigned after a lackluster performance evaluation in June. Assistant Town Manager Maryanne Bilodeau has since served as interim town manager.

Sheehan credits Bilodeau with what he expects to be an easy transition, thanks to her leadership.

“Part of the lure for me is that I don’t have to fix things, and I can get right into the execution of these plans and these projects that are queued up and waiting to be initiated,” Sheehan said in an interview with the Daily News. “I’m excited about what awaits me in Sudbury and the opportunities and challenges there — and I know there will be plenty to keep me busy.”
