2022 SUDBURY 4TH OF JULY PARADE

  • Sudbury Chamber of Commerce 400 Boston Post Road Sudbury, MA, 01776 United States (map)

Dear Parade Participants,

First, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back.  After a two-year pandemic hiatus, the Sudbury 4th of July parade is back for 2022!!

Second, our committee is hard at work behind the scenes putting the pieces into place, which includes building the lineup. So, the sooner we hear back from you the better.  Typically, the early bird gets better placement. Please note if for some reason we have your contact information incorrect, or you would like to be removed from our list please reach out with any updates.

This year’s theme ‘Sudbury Salutes HEROES, HELPERS and ESSENTIAL WORKERS’ is in honor of and to thank all the workers whose service(s) were fundamental to maintaining the wellbeing of our community.

Let’s gather as a community and make this parade the best in years with floats, banners, and celebrations to show our gratitude and salute our hometown heroes. So, let’s get the patriotic ideas flowing and make this a parade to remember.

Judging for the floats will begin at 12:00 pm.  All floats need to be in position by noon and must incorporate the current theme into the overall design to be eligible for an award. We also ask that the theme title be displayed somewhere on the float.

The parade will start at 1:00 on Monday, July 4, 2022.  Like in years past, the parade will line up in Chiswick Park.  We ask that you enter from Route 20, located diagonally across from CVS. GPS address is 490 Boston Post Road, Sudbury. Once you have confirmed we will send you another email with directions, your assigned division, and a map of the parade route.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to email the committee at: parade@sudbury.org

Once again, thank you for your participation and we look forward to bringing our tradition back.

Sincerely,

Mike Hamill, Chairman
