“Making your Marketing Matter” – Transforming Marketing into a Valuable Contribution to Your Business’s Success

Do you feel like your marketing efforts are hit or miss?

Would you like to know if what you are doing is actually working?

If you answered yes to any of the above, you are not alone. Many business owners execute ad-hoc initiatives in order to hopefully increase the sales funnel. Without a specific objective and performance measurement indicators, they are typically a waste of company capital. We invite you to take the often very costly guesswork out of your marketing efforts. Get into the driver’s seat of your company’s marketing and start your journey with your destination in mind.

We will also have a second speaker this evening: Catherine Coleman is Director of Development at Indian Hill Music, a regional music organization headquartered in Littleton. She will speak about Indian Hill’s range of musical offerings, including professional orchestral, jazz and chamber concerts, and their community music school that teaches 1,500 students annually of all ages and musical abilities. She will also share news about Indian Hill Music’s outreach programming, which is a central component of the organization’s mission to “give music generously when there is need.” Indian Hill serves 12,000 people every year.

GetLocaLMA.com has joined forces with the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce to help raise funds for another successful Sudbury Fair!!

GetLocaLMA.com has joined forces with the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce to help raise funds for another successful Sudbury Fair. We had over 3,000 residents attend the 375 Grange Fair and 10,000 expected for LS Field day. With the support of local businesses we can make this an ANNUAL event for Sudbury residents, which in turn will create huge exposure for Sudbury businesses that donate to the events. Exposure how you ask? Those that support our efforts will have first option to participate at the events by means of a booth to exhibit their companies, logos on our posters and flyers and promotional materials for the events, logos on our Sudbury newsletters leading up to events, ads on our website that have the event information and resident registrations for the events. (the higher your level of support, the greater your town exposure) Support something to help your business GROW! Residents are asking us to PLAN this event. Our advertisers in the 375 magazine generated MORE exposure and company traffic than ever before. With your donation you get an ad (designed for FREE) in our NEXT Shop Local magazine coming out next month. We are excited to have you be a part of helping us bring our community together!

This is the link to our 375 online digital magazine. Our new Sudbury Shop Local magazine will also go to our 6,000 Sudbury resident database…

AND will be distributed FREE at sudbury doctors offices, chiropractor offices, dentists, coffee shops, MANY Sudbury stores and locations.. We are planning on putting local residents in pictures, on the cover as well, to prompt distribution of the magazine to family and friends. We were even approached by the schools to give copies of the magazine to teachers. They will be distributed at all the events we help plan and through our advertisers. We also welcome all of our advertisers to send the online version of the magazine to their email databases to support one another.

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Small Business Outlook Survey

In May of 2011, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce released the results of its inaugural quarterly Small Business Outlook Survey. The quarterly surveys are designed to track the small business community’s outlook on their business, the local economy, and the national economy over time. Small business owners are polled nation-wide, and respondents include U.S. Chamber members and non-members.
