- Bearly Read Books has been in business for nearly 25 years. We have books on a wide range of subjects including military history, first edition children's and illustrated classics, modern first editions, leather bound sets. We are open 6 days a week, closed Mondays. We have 40,000 books in stock.
Betty Ann Sharp and Jim Ellis took over ownership and operation of Bearly Read Books in 2007. They bring with them a diverse background in literature, education, technology, entrepreneurship, and writing. They will happily assist customers in finding any books they may be looking for. If they don't have it they will happily add your book to their list of books to watch for.
Betty Ann and Jim also have a great respect for the collector. It doesn't matter the subject. They have folks that collect books on aviation, specific campaigns in WWII, anything to do with the 1970's and pop-up books. There are so many people who collect firearms, or are huge fans of the Boston Red Sox, who collect Red Sox memorabilia. We would like encourage them to look at adding books about their passion to their collections. If you have a Babe Ruth baseball, we've got a great selection of Babe Ruth books to go with it.
