A Very Victorian Christmas Carol returns to the Wayside Inn one matinee performance, brought to life by actor and Framingham native Al LePage—all in the enchanted Martha Mary Chapel!

Dickens’ very own Historic Script and Acting-style come to life!

A “Very Victorian” Christmas Carol returns with two benefit performances, brought to life by “Englishman Thomas Hutchinson” in the enchanted Martha Mary Chapel!

Saturday, Dec. 7 • 7:00 pm • “Done Like Dickens!”
Dickens’ very own Historic Script and Acting-style come to life using the authors own full public reading version! Best appreciated by adults and mature children, ages 10 and up.

Sunday, Dec. 8 • 2:00 pm • “A Christmas Carol Times Two!”
Traditional Christmas Carol Music is weaved together with a shorter version of Dickens Original Script! Best appreciated by adults and younger children, ages 5 and up.

Actor and Framingham native Al LePage in the character and clothing of Victorian-era “Englishman Thomas Hutchinson, Traveling Thespian” gives a dramatic reading as Dickens himself did it, re-creating some 18 or more characters by miraculously transforming himself through use of voice, facial expression, and gesture. This December “Thomas” invites you back in time to the year “1911”, and as usual interacts with audience members before, during and after the performance, too! He’ll again add some more new twists and surprises to these performances – sell-outs for the last 5 years – with all ticket sales again benefiting both the Inn’s non-profit historic site and the area emergency food bank A Place To Turn!

Admission also includes the Inn’s own holiday cookies during intermission.

Admission includes holiday cookies served during intermission.

Seating is general admission and limited to 140 tickets only. Phone (978) 443-1776. No refunds. All sales final.
