In the rush to “get it done” often times we spend an inordinate amount of time focused on the final product. The truth is often times while the final product is the most public piece, so much of the joy comes with the journey.
This year we are very fortunate to have such an amazing committee working hard on the “Sudbury Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade” and we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge them and to let them know how much we appreciate the amazing work that they do on behalf of the Parade and for the matter on behalf of the entire town.

On a personal level, I would like to share a story. Mike, our Parade Chairman, was kind enough to invite me to a recent Parade Planning Meeting and I have to say I was immensely impressed by not only how well organized the entire process was, but even more so by the immense passion that I witnessed first hand not only for the Parade, but also the passion that all these individuals have for the Flag, and for Sudbury. It felt really good knowing that such committed individuals were so passionate about delivering on a massive event that brings so many great smiles into our community.
We would also like to point out that all these individuals are volunteers so if you happen to see them around town feel free to say “thanks” to them.
On behalf of the entire membership of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce, once again thank you to all our Parade Committee members for the amazing work that you do. Your efforts are greatly appreciated by the entire Chamber as well as by the much larger community from which we all draw from.
